Greetings and a warm welcome to you from the Brevard County Section of The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. In May 2020 I was elected as the charter President of the Brevard County Section President and it is my humble honor to serve you as a leader within my two year term. The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1935 with the mission to advance the opportunities and the quality of life for African American women, their families, and communities. After almost two years of diligence and consistency with 43 phenomenal charter leaders, and under our NCNW FL State Coalition President Ms. Tee Solomon, NCNW Brevard was issued it's bona fide charter on March 27, 2020.
It is my goal and vision that NCNW Brevard reaches all of Brevard County, FL and beyond. Our Section and Executive Committee will carefully build upon our organizations four pillars:
Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship
Physical and Mental Health
Sound Public Policy
It is my determination to lead our Section in its first years chartered, with the goal to pave the way and build the foundation for years to come. Anyone - who agrees with our vision to "lead, advocate, and empower women of African descent, their families, and communities" - is welcome to join our Section and organization. I am thrilled and looking forward to working with our Section and Brevard County.
Love and light,
Tabitha K. Hadley
President, NCNW Brevard
